Modern wood jewelry or keepsake box inspired by Japanese / oriental architecture style.
The box is made of Ash wood, the darker parts are one of mahogany's many species (not sure witch because its reclaimed wood, the lid is made of oak. Inside finished with Shellac, the rest finished with multiple coats of Danish oil. Polished with beeswax for a subtle shinier finish.
♥ Each box is lovingly handcrafted using artisan hand tools such as hand saws, hand planes, chisels etc.
♥ The box can be ordered with removable storage holder with compartments or without storage holder. Please chose your preference when placing the order.
♥ The box bottom and the compartments are lined with fabric for a scratch free storage.
♥ Each Box is unique in it's own way since wood grain patterns and color varies.

The box can be made of different woods too, like mahogany, sycamore, European/american walnut, smaller details like handle, splines, feet corners can be made of more exotic woods like the reddish padouk, wenge, leopard wood, zebra wood etc. if wanted it can be discussed.
♥ Care tips:
We recommend only ‘dry dusting’ the box when required. Please do not use any spray or abrasive cleaners on the wood.
Wood being a natural product it will take time to settle in its new home. Please do not place the box near any sources of direct heat or moisture. Wood reacts to its environment so some movement in the timber may/will occur.
